A few of the best dishes I’ve had around the city in the last few weeks. Any to add?
Anything from Hanks, especially if its fried. The corn beef hash for brunch is a plate of meaty delicious, check it out.
At Bar Pilar, I love the frisee salad with bacon vinagrette and the poached egg.
The wings at the new “Grill Next Door” demand consideration in any “best wings in DC” convo. Blend of buffalo and bbq with a little hoisin or something asian, and nice homemade blue cheese.
Rasika is the best indian in the city, and their $30 pre-theater menu delivers affordable classics. Check that out, too.
/heads to lunch
oooh right, the new ben’s “upscale” place. It’s in my hood so I guess I should check it out.
I had the pot roast at Founding Farmer’s on Penn. Ave today and it was just perfect.
Fried chicken and waffles at Marvin. So good!
Rosemary Chicken Liver Bruschetta at Cork on 14th. I’m not lying here…also go for Bin 31, the cheap southwestern French wine from the grape you’ve never heard of.
Chorizo Tacos at Taqueria Distrito Federal waaaay up on 14th (3400 block).
Popeye Grilled Cheese at the Diner in Adams Morgan
Toller Artikel. Ich bin ganz gespannt auf mehr Beiträge dieser Art.
