  • That jerk Ilan from season 2 is still running around.
  • Consumer Reports readers rate Wendy’s fries best. Justice for the King!
  • Bill Daley for the Chicago Tribune decodes riesling labels and offers some notes on what riesling makers are sending to the States.
  • Lend me your ear, and I’ll make you some corn broth.
  • Would any cheese other than a Belgian cheese be ideally paired with a (Belgian) beer?

  1. Granted, it’s been a long time since I’ve eaten fries at any of those places, but Consumer Reports is out to frakin’ lunch. McDonald’s doesn’t do much right, but its fries are perfect. Wendy’s fries are so dry they are only palatable covered in ketchup.

  2. Ilan Hall is one of my all-time favorites from the show. He or Dale from Season 3 are the only two in the discussion of absolute most superest-duperest favorite.

  3. @bend: So you’ve got a thing for douchebags?
